Special Agent Patrick CuccaroSpecial Agent Patrick Cuccaro possesses an analytical mind and keen intellect. As Past Chair of the Georgia Restaurant Association (2012)—representing more than 4,000 restaurants and 100,000 employees—he casts a studied eye towards one of the country’s largest creators of waste—the food industry.

Armed with a vision for creating a smaller carbon footprint at the company that he manages, Agent Cuccaro kicked off Affairs to Remember Caterers’ Legacy Green initiative in 2008, which celebrated in late 2014 having diverted more than 500 tons (ONE MILLION POUNDS) of materials out of landfills—to be recycled, repurposed and composted instead.

Since then, Agent Cuccaro has done his homework with research, participation in forums and what some would call an absurd amount of “free time” devoted to finding answers to questions surrounding authentic Green living.

By using sound reasoning and healthy skepticism, Agent Cuccaro deciphers fact from fiction and uncovers the realities underlying Green hype, now commonly known as Greenwashing. Cuccaro works alongside Special Agent William Neal, whose straight-from-the-school-of-hard-knocks intuitive decision-making brings an exciting element of risk to the partnership.

In his personal life, Agent Cuccaro is a published playwright, his most recent musical show slammergirls having been produced at the Piccolo Spoleto festival in Charleston, South Carolina. He was the Playwright in Residence for two years at Neighborhood Playhouse, and he helped create several of Atlanta’s longest running shows, including Big Hair and Other Teases (writer/director), Della’s Diner (original associate producer) and Something for Everyone (producer/writer/director).

He is an alumnus of the international Small Business Advisory Council for Yelp, everyone’s favorite restaurant and business review site!
