Rutherford and Laura Turner Seydel‘s private home is a shining example of what is possible when a family consciously decides to “walk the walk and talk the talk” with regards to their residence.

Inspiration was not one specific item or event. It was more a continuation of their current lifestyle and a promise to their family that they would always do their part to be Green. Recent changes and organized support toward residential Green building practices have now made building EcoManor a reality and will help Laura and Rutherford to deliver their commitment.

Congressman Hank Johnson, Georgia 4th District

Fortunately, Georgia has clean water champions in Washington, D.C., like Congressman Hank Johnson, who are standing up for the waterways we love and rely on.

Out of concern of the people of my district—and similar communities across the country—I stand in support of this clean water Georgia Senate Bill 139,” said Congressman Hank Johnson. “As ranking member of the Regulatory Reform, Commercial and Antitrust Law, we owe the State of Georgia and the country to implement a rule that keeps our water safe and maintains farmers’ ability to make a living. Like all things in nature, we must strike a balance.”
