Georgia Grown

Georgia Grown—a program of the Georgia Department of Agriculture, led by Commissioner Gary W. Black—is a program designed to help businesses with a vested interest in Georgia’s agriculture become even more successful.

Georgia Grown is also a brand that is “desired by business and consumers who want to buy and promote Georgia’s locally grown products. It’s a brand with deep roots in sustainability, quality and integrity.”

One of the programs within Georgia Grown is the “Georgia Grown Executive Chefs” program, of which Affairs to Remember’s Chef Ahmad Nourzad joined in 2013. Georgia Grown Executive Chefs—four are inducted into the program each year—promote to chefs and consumers throughout the state to buy and use produce and other products made in Georgia.

Executive Chef Ahmad Nourzad has made two videos for Georgia Grown. Click on the photo to view one of them…

The most recent Executive Chef at the Georgia Governor’s Mansion, where she served for 33 years, Chef Holly Chute this year accepted the position of “Georgia’s Chef“, the culinary ambassador for Georgia Grown. We eagerly look forward to the greatness Chef Holly will bring to Georgia Grown!
