Chef Linton Hopkins is a household name in Atlanta…and beyond. We “revere” Chef Linton for his commitment to using, and promoting the use of, local and sustainable ingredients, as well as his masterful creativity.

Among Chef Linton’s many distinguishing moments are his 2012 James Beard Award for Best Chef-Southeast, and being appointed a Georgia Grown Executive Chef by Commissioner Gary W. Black of the Georgia Department of Agriculture in 2013, the same year our own Chef Ahmad Nourzad was appointed (photo).


Given the litany of Chef Linton’s illustrious culinary achievements, it’s surprising to read that the was named Food & Wine‘s Best New Chef 2009. “NEW” is the surprising part…Chef Linton is hardly new to the culinary world. Today, he’s wholly ingrained in the Atlanta food scene. You can’t swing a Peachtree Road Farmers Market (of which he and wife Gina are founding partners) carrot without hitting a Linton Hopkins restaurant! And speaking of a powerful swing, have you enjoyed the famous H&F Burger at Turner Field?


Chef Linton’s endeavors include Restaurant Eugene, Holeman & Finch Public House, H&F Bread, H&F Bottle Shop, and The Cafe at Linton’s in the Garden, which will later be a full, multi-story restaurant on the grounds of Atlanta Botanical Garden. And there are more on the way!
