As General Manager for Affairs to Remember, Inc., Rich Wilner manages for the company its sales and marketing strategies, business development, external contracts, hiring and training, and forecasting. He brings 30 years of hospitality industry experience and expertise to this role.
Rich has produced more than 1,000 events, served in key roles in innovating Affairs to Remember's signature designs, and was the company's Director of Sales for 10 years prior to being promoted to General Manager in 2015.
Prior to joining Affairs to Remember in 1998, Rich was a Multi-Unit Manager for Caribou Coffee, overseeing nine Atlanta stores, and more than 75 employees, utilizing his background in restaurants and catering.
A native of New York, Rich matriculated at the State University of New York at Oswego and earned a Bachelor degree in Communications. He has called Atlanta home since 1991.
Recognized with a "Choice Award" for work on the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants national conference, he is often invited to speak as an industry expert, including for the Association of Bridal Consultants, as well as Wedding Planning seminars at Georgia State University.
Along with his professional work, he supports local and international non-profit organizations ranging from a ten year Board of Director position with Aids Research Consortium of Atlanta (ARCA), volunteer for Metro Hospice Care, and AID Atlanta, to fundraising efforts for Africare.
While many of his life lessons and joy continue to come from his work, Rich is abundantly fulfilled and revitalized by cooking (and eating), painting, exercising, enjoying time at the beach, and spending time with his family, including building LEGO projects with his young son.
