Kristy Cook, CMP, Director of Sales at Affairs to Remember, is a top producer for the organization. She skillfully maintains her responsibilities of account management and territory development, while creating, building, and sustaining strong client relationships both in Atlanta and across the country.

Dynamic and innovative, Kristy has grown the company’s business-to-business portfolio to its highest levels in the 40-year history as one of the country’s largest, privately-owned catering and event design firms. Enhancing Kristy’s professional successes are her adept skills in leading cross-functional teams, coaching, training, and mentoring, for which she has been recognized with awards at the local and state level.

Since joining Affairs to Remember in 2000, Kristy has masterfully elevated her role and responsibilities through the Sales division, and has garnered profound respect from colleagues, vendors, and clients. She has accumulated years of expertise in the hospitality and event design industries, and faithfully continues to expand her professional development through education, and outreach. Her comprehensive knowledge of the industry is augmented by her meticulous attention to detail and hyper-productive, efficient approach.

Kristy’s professional affiliations include serving with the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau (ACVB), the Convention Industry Council (CIC), the Georgia Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (GaMPI), Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI), and the International Special Events Society (ISES). She has comfortably held leadership roles including her position as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the LDEI Atlanta Chapter, and carries the designation of Certified Meeting Professional (CMP).

Kristy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Ecology from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, a short drive from her hometown of Sylvania, Ohio. In her free time, she continues her love of all things hospitality and culinary by celebrating the “Art of the Table”, as well as practicing yoga, and enjoying live music.
