Bringing nearly three decades of hospitality, business management and sales experience and expertise to AFFAIRS to REMEMBER, Steve M. Moore joined the AFFAIRS family in January 2019 as an Account Executive, responsible for sales and execution of full event productions.
With a steadfast commitment to exceeding client expectations and providing superior customer service, as well as being energized with the tenacity of a high-achiever, yet highly personable, Steve's breadth of special events knowledge, at every level, continues to translate into nearly countless happy clients, as well as industry colleagues.
Prior to joining AFFAIRS, Steve held numerous prestigious roles in the Atlanta events industry, including Senior Account Executive, Director of Sales, and Managing Partner.
In Steve's earlier professional experience, he was owner of two businesses that offered fashion and runway services. The litany of his media experiences include print—Martha Stewart Weddings, Ebony Magazine, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, Modern Luxury; television—Whose Wedding is It Anyway?, Say Yes to the Dress; and working with celebrities—Holly Robinson Peete, Laura Bush, and Patti LaBelle.
Wholly committed to the success of Atlanta's hospitality industry, Steve has committed countless hours to local and international industry organizations, including having served as Director of Programs and President of the Atlanta chapter of ILEA (International Live Events Association), and he has served with the Allie Awards in the capacity of Food and Beverage Chair and on the Board of Governors.
A native of Stuart, Virginia, Steve moved to Atlanta in January 1991, had a brief mid-90s stint in North Carolina, and has called Atlanta home since 1997.
When enjoying personal time, you might find Steve cooking—probably grilling steaks or enjoying Italian, Indian, seafood or Southern cuisine. He also enjoys traveling, especially to New York, and when it's time to decompress, he indulges in an episode or two of prime time cartoon Bobs’ Burgers.
