Affairs to Remember, Atlanta's greenest caterer and one of the largest privately held off-premise luxury caterers in the United States, today announced that it is expanding its Legacy Giving program to include for-profit organizations new to Affairs to Remember seeking to include a charitable component in their catered special events.
To date, Affairs to Remember has donated and sponsored more than $3,000,000 in catering and event design services to local nonprofit organizations through its Legacy Giving program. The program has always included for-profit organizations hosting charitable events and this expansion takes that one step farther.
These new sponsorships may include substantial discounts off catering charges, including food and beverage, equipment and service staff. Often the company may also sponsor design services at sponsored levels. The amount discounted will be gifted to local charities in the name of the company being sponsored.

The benefiting nonprofit organizations in this program expansion are three of Affairs' favorites:
Affairs to Remember has donated prepared, unused food to the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB)—through ACFB's Atlanta's Table program—for more than a decade, and has volunteered at the food bank and has contributed through additional means.
The company's employee base is comprised of a large number of animal lovers and Affairs to Remember has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with P.A.W.S. Atlanta, a no-kill animal shelter. Affairs has catered their annual gala and other fundraising events, and has assisted with animal adoptions.
Recently, Working Title Playwrights (WTP) awarded three Affairs to Remember employees—who are members of WTP—their Ovation Award. The company continues an arrangement of making a monetary contribution to the nonprofit for every hour worked by employees hired via Working Title Playwrights.

Clients awarded a Legacy Giving sponsorship will receive written notification of the donation from the benefiting non-profit(s) thanking them for having chosen Affairs to Remember and noting the amount that was donated in the sponsored company's name.

Now in its 10th year, the Legacy Giving program was created in late 2008 as a way for Affairs to Remember to give back to the community that it has now served for more than 40 years.
