Your Grand Event in the Grand Salon

The Grand Salon makes for a grand wedding ceremony…and reception!

We’ve tailored the Fox Theatre ballrooms to thousands of configurations for our clients over the years. If your dream wedding includes the Fox Theatre, we’ll help you visualize the ballrooms as they map onto your vision for your special day…the possibilities are truly endless!

We’ve designed and catered weddings where:

  • The ceremony was in the Grand Salon, cocktail hour on the Terrace (the Terrace is included in Grand Salon rental), and we reset the Grand Salon for the reception;
  • The ceremony was in the Grand Salon, cocktail hour was under the balcony in the Egyptian Ballroom, and then the reception in whole of the Egyptian Ballroom;
  • We’ve seen the ceremony in the Egyptian Ballroom, cocktail hour in the Grand Salon & Terrace, and the reception back in the reset Egyptian Ballroom;
  • We’ve seen ceremonies on the Terrace and the reception in the Grand Salon…

You’ll find that we’re incredibly creative and will work diligently to bring your dream wedding to life.

The Grand Salon has amazing features! It’s architecture is Moroccan. You’ll be surrounded by intricate mosaics, stunning doorways and windows, and beautifully painted beams overhead. The jewel-toned carpet mirrors the border of the stunning antique stained-glass feature centered in the ceiling. That carpet is in the middle of the room revealing a border of the original, patterned terrazzo floors.

Guests may enter from the Grand Staircase and in some cases via the Mezzanine level of the Theatre, and the Grand Salon opens directly into the Egyptian Ballroom–through rich wooden doors, often used for a “big reveal”.

We’ve seen one wall elegantly draped for wedding ceremonies, and a center aisle for the wedding party and bride’s procession.

It’s such an elegant ballroom. You really must see it for yourself!
